The Death of IE6.

Memorial services for the browser will be held March 1, 2010 in Mountain View, California.

With advances in modern web design older browsers such as the bane of my existence, IE6, are rendered obsolete. Finally more and more companies, including Google, are discontinuing support for this severely outdated browser. Seriously, there is IE8 for pete’s sake. Any competent web designer knows we must maintain the web standards and accessibility for ourselves and our clients’ sites. This pinnacle moment in web design will hopefully liberate designers allowing the web grow as the ever evolving beautiful beast that it is .

Enjoy the internet to it’s full capacity and make sure you are using the most recent version or your web browser, whether it is Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and if you must IE.
